"My long-time SF agent retired and I was randomly assigned to someone else. I called and changed to Lisa Dilts as I had heard many positive things about her office. I have been very pleased with the service that I have received and they are always responsive to calls and e-mails. I also like the community aspect of this office as Lisa took part in a Shreveport Green tree giveaway last year. I went and she helped load my car with a couple of trees. Highly recommend!"

"I just recieved notice that my homeowners policy is being canceled due to "To Many Claims". No notices in the mail, no emails, and the only phone calls we get from state farm are to sell us life insurance. The only other calls we get are to come because we want to do a yearly review of your policy to see if we can adjust it to save you money. No voicemails when I cant be reached by phone saying hey, your getting close to a claim limit on your policy and your at risk of being canceled. I have various claims in on my home, but only one was ever fully processed and paid because the structure was involved in a fire and burned down. To get somebody from State Farm to come to my property to even look at damage, we were told to submit a claim. They come out and say yea, we will pay you 1/15th of what the damage is actully going to cost, or say its not even worth claiming. I talked to various people at the Lisa Dilts office including Lisa Dilts herself. First person couldnt find anything on my policy about a cancelation. 2nd person and Lisa said its an underwriting decision. I asked is there a document that clearly states that X ammount of claims over X ammount of time equals a cancelation of policy. I was told NO, there is nothing in writing that states that. Basicly underwriting looks at the policy claims and they decide to keep you or not. No policy to follow, no rules in writing, just somebodys decision when they decide to look at it. What if the underwriter is having a bad day and said to hell with that homeowners policy without looking at it? This seems very unethical and unprofessional for a company to do since there is nothing in writing."
